To mark the imminent release of TWH Publishing’s newest title, which will soon grace the pages of Hall Good Books, we’re running a competition for a signed copy of ‘Unravelled‘, by Briony Marshall, and a £25 Amazon gift voucher – so you can stock up on even more books!
About the book:
Unravelled is the ultimate heart-warming, will-they-won’t-they tale between boy and girl. The difference with this yarn, and which you could probably guess from the title and cover, is that it’s a love story between two knitters.
Adrian owns Oddballs, the local wool shop. Claire is a young-at-times-yet-often-old-before-her-time twenty-something who’s usually an expert with her needles. When her life starts to fall apart, so does her knitting. It sports glaring holes, the instructions looking like gobbledegook to her, and a failure to even grip her needles leads to woolly disasters. If Claire sorts her life out, will her knitting come together, or does she have to exorcise her woolly woes first?
Briony Marshall’s warm humour, and her insight into the awkwardness that comes when you finally admit you’re an adult, make this a touching yet laugh-out-loud story. The perfect book to snuggle up with against a roaring fire, you’ll find yourself adoring the Bitches, you’ll long to remove Adrian’s trademark scarf from his neck, and you’ll cringe at Claire’s roster of failed dates – had Jeremy Beadle still been alive, he’d have surely been round a corner with his camera.
To win a signed copy of Unravelled, and £25 of Amazon vouchers, all you need to do is stick one of our exclusive Unravelled stickers in an unusual place, take a photo of it, then upload it onto Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, with the hashtag #unravelled to be in with a shout. Let your creative juices run wild…each entrant receives a sheet of ten stickers, and therefore has ten chances to win.
You can stick your stickers anywhere in the world (as long as you’re not trespassing or violating any laws!), inside or outside your home/work/place of play. Once the competition closes on 12th November 2017, we’ll choose what we view as the most unusual entry (stickers must be requested by 8th November, to allow time for them to reach you).
It’s that simple. It’s that easy to show us your genius. Even Scamp (Hall Good Book’s mascot) has had a go.
To receive your sheet of stickers, send your name and address via the contact form on the relevant page. We promise we won’t use your information other than for the purposes of this competition.
Sign up to our newsletter in the meantime, too, for details of all our upcoming reads.
